Dana formed VEN in 2010 when she saw a need to help DVMs and the veterinary world after a career working in both human and veterinary science.

Dana  Rhoden, CMP, CMM is the founder of Veterinary Education Network (VEN) in Dallas, TX

She formed VEN to provide DVM business owners the tools and resources to help them be better business owners. 

She has been in the healthcare and animal welfare industries for over 25 years producing and developing accredited continuing education for physicians.  

Dana was part of the founding team of Southwest Veterinary Symposium and in her role as the Director of Operations; she helped build the foundation of a conference that is now one of the top five in the veterinary industry.

 

 She has produced award winning events globally, ranging for medical organizations in cardiology, oncology and veterinary sciences and other industries such as sports, oil & gas, the food industries.  She has produced a number of special event fundraisers for animal organizations and a variety of animal rescue groups.

 

Dana is a sought after speaker specializing in topics such as using special events, media relations, fundraising and community outreach as a marketing tool.  She was named the International Meeting Professional of the Year and has won a number of leadership and public relations awards.  She serves on a number of boards in leadership roles.

 

 She lives in Dallas with her husband and four rescue dogs and a number of foster pets and runs marathons in her spare time.​
